The Argentina crest is intact on top of the receiver ring. The burnished steel receiver and bolt have no rust spots or blemishes. All of the original wood finish is intact. The stock and hand guard have no dents or damage. The original bluing is stunning! This rifle looks like it just came out of the original shipping crate! The bolt face shows no sign of ever being fired after the five rounds fired at the test target.
Argentin german mauser rifle serial numbers#
This is a new as unissued rifle! All the serial numbers match including the cleaning rod. Many of the small parts have that vivid nitre blued finish. The original sighting or test target is also serial numbered to this rifle. It has the 30 inch infantry barrel chambered for the 7 m/m Argentine cartridge, that is the 7.6/5 x 53 Mauser. The original front sight and muzzle cover is serial numbered to this gun.
